Driving CCS towards implementation

The 12th CO2GeoNet Open Forum "Driving CCS towards implementation” and adjacent joint workshops will take place from 8 to 11  May 2017, on San Servolo Island, Venice.

The Open Forum will be devoted, on May 8-9, to state -of-the-art presentations given by renowned international experts, on the following topics:

·         Meeting the COP targets - worldwide engagement

   International perspectives on the impact of the Conference of the Parties

·         Decarbonising industry: the vital role of CCS

   Integrating CCS into the industrial sector

·         New opportunities and synergies for CCS

   CO2 utilisation and integrating CCS with other energy technologies

·         Lessons learned for future applications

   Building on practical experience (test bed - pilot - demo scales)

·         Accelerating implementation of CCS

   Showcasing results from EU projects

The Open Forum will be followed, on May 10-11 by the following events:
